About Me
I’m a Pediatric Epileptologist and Clinician-Scientist at the Cleveland Clinic Epilepsy Center, working at the intersection of neuroimaging, epilepsy surgery, and data science. My research focuses on quantitative MRI and intracranial EEG as tools to better understand - and better treat - drug-resistant epilepsy in children.
I trained at the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver before completing fellowships in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic, where I now hold an Associate Staff appointment in the Neurological Institute. I am currently completing an MSc in Biomedical Health Informatics at Case Western Reserve University.
I serve on the ILAE Neuroradiology Task Force and was a recipient of the Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute Clinician-Scientist Award. I created the Epilepsy Handbook, a free open-access resource for families navigating life with epilepsy, and volunteer with Special Olympics and Empowering Epilepsy. Outside of work, I spend time with my daughters, paint, and travel whenever possible.
